いらだってはいけません。主を待ち望みなさい。主は必ずおいでになって、あなたを救ってくださいます。勇気を出しなさい。 神様を待ち望みなさい。主はきっと救ってくださいます。（詩編 27:14)
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. (27:14)
今年ずーっと神様からジャーナルや色々なものを通して語られている箇所。
God has been speaking to me about this this year, from my journaling and other things.
待ちなさい。
Wait.
「待つ」と聞いてあまりワクワクする人はいないよね。
No one really gets excited about waiting
待ったりするその状況そのものが好きっていう人はいないと思う。
I think most people don’t like the process of WAITING.
特に何もかもスピーディにすすんでいく今の時代。待つことが少なくなった。
Especially in this fast-paced world, we rarely wait for things.
でも、信号に青信号、黄色信号、赤信号があるように、人生待たないといけない時もある。
But just as we have blue lights, yellow lights and red lights, sometimes in life we have to WAIT.
あなたも今何かまってるかな？
Are you waiting for something too?
結婚相手、仕事が与えられる事、昇進、人生の次のシーズン、リーダーになること。。。
Your marriage partner, a new job, promotion, the next season of your life or becoming a leader…?
今日は私と同じように何かを待っているあなたへ伝えたい。
Today, I want to share with you if you are waiting for something just like I am.
神様はあなたに「待って」といってるだけではない。待ち望みなさいっていってる。
God is not just “wait”… He is saying ”WAIT IN EXPECTATION.”
だから、待ち望もう！
So let’s wait in expectation!
聖書でいっている「待ち望む」は行動的なもの。あきらめないこと、ただ受身に待つことではなくて、待っている間も活動をすること。 目標に達成するまで、全てのことを耐え忍ぶことができる力。
The Bible says to wait in expectation. This is ACTIVE . It’s about not giving up. Not just waiting passively but doing something as you are waiting. It’s the power to overcome anything until you reach the goal.
「わたしたちはさらに、さまざまな困難に直面した時も喜ぶことができます。それは忍耐を学ぶのに役立つからです。忍耐によって、私たちの人格は筋金入りにさ れて、ひいては神様への信頼を深められるのです。こうしてついに私たちの希望と信仰は強く、何者にも動じなくなるのです。そうなった時、どんなことが起ころうとも失望落胆せず、また、万事が益であるとわかります。」（ローマ５：３－５）
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. (Romans 5:3-5)
待っている先には必ず希望がある!
There is always hope in waiting!
待ち望む＝約束（ビジョン）を思い描き、期待し続ける力
Waiting in Expectation=Ability to see the promises (VISION) and wait in expectation
聖書の中で、農夫の例えでわかりやすくかいてある：
The bible gives us a clear illustration of patience through the farmers:
「こういうわけですから、兄弟たち。主が来られる時まで耐え忍びなさい。見なさい。農夫は、大地の貴重な実りを、秋の雨や春の雨が降るまで、耐え忍んで待っています」（ヤコブ5:7）。
Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. (James 5:7)
機械など無い時代、硬い土地を耕したり、種をまいたり、水をやったり、雑草を取ったりする農作業はつらい仕事だった。それでも、農夫たちはそういうつらい仕事を続けて、収穫をまつことができた。
Imagine how hard it would have been with no machines to cultivate the land, sow seeds, give water and pull out the weeds. It wasn’t an easy job. But the farmers were able to continue that everyday and wait for the harvest.
なんでだろう？
Do you know why?
それは、豊かな収穫の時を思い描いているから。ビジョンがあったから！
That’s because they were focusing on the harvest time. They had vision!
マルコ 4:27 夜は寝て、朝は起き、そうこうしているうちに、種は芽を出して育ちます。どのようにしてか、人は知りません。
(Mark 4:27) Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.
私達は、「いつ、どうやって」 待っているものを与えてくれるのかは知ることはできない。だけど、神様は知ってる!!!
We don’t know WHEN and HOW things happens but the good news is… GOD KNOWS!!!
一つ確実なことは必ず神様がベストを用意してくれているってこと。
And we know that God has the best for us.
だから、待つことを楽しもう。
So Enjoy the WAIT
誰かがこういう風にいってた、 「自分ができることをしたら残りは神様におまかせ！」
Someone said this before, “Do what you can do and God will do the rest.”
私たちができることと、どうにもできないことがある。 例えば、農夫の話に戻ると種をまいたり、雑草をぬいたり、水をあげたりするのは私達の仕事。でもその種から芽を出し、成長させるのは神様の仕事。
There are somethings that we can control and that we can’t. For example, the farmers part is to sow seeds, pull out the weeds and give water. But it’s God’s part is to actually grow the plants.
多くの人は自分でコントロールできないことにイライラして、待ってる間も全く楽しめない。 特に日本人は常に何かしてないと罪悪感を持ちやすい。 だけど、自分ができることをしつくした後は神様におまかせしよう！待つことをもっと楽しもう。
So many people get frustrated about things that they can not control. They can’t enjoy the wait. Especially Japanese people tend to feel guilty if they aren’t doing anything. But after doing your part, let God do his part! Let’s enjoy the wait!
待つことを楽しめた時に確実にあなたは成長してる。
When we can enjoy the wait, we are gradually but definitely growing.
あきらめないで！せいいっぱいできるところまでやって神様を待ち望もう！
Don’t give up! Just do the best that you can do and let’s wait for God in expectation!!
見張りの者が夜明けを待つよりも切実に、神様を待ち望んでいます。イスラエル（日本）よ、神様を信じて希望を持ちなさい。 神様は恵み深く親切で、両腕いっぱいの祝福をかかえておいでになるからです。（詩編１３０：６−７）
I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. Israel (Japan!), put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. (Psalm 130:6-7)
