先週、私のオーストラリアの高校時代の友達が結婚しました☆
Last week, my friend from highschool in Australia got married!!!

ジュリー、スコット　結婚おめでとう！！！　本当に嬉しい
Congratulations Julie and Scott!!! We are so happy for you guys

ジュリーと私は高校生の時から友達。そのときは２人ともクリスチャンの高校に通いながらも、クリスチャンではなかった。
Julie and I’ve been good friends since highschool. Back then we were going to a Christian highschool but we weren’t Christians…

一緒に勉強したり、料理したり、演技したり、楽しい思い出がいっぱい☆
We studied together, cooked together, acted together… we have great memories!

でも私が大学生の終わりでクリスチャンになり、日本に帰った。
But I became a Christian at the end of my uni, and I went back to Japan.

そして、休みの時にオーストラリアに遊びにいった時、ふとジュリーのことを思い出して、「一緒にチャーチいってみない？」って誘ったんだ。
And  one time when I went to Australia during my holiday, I remembered about Julie and  I invited her to come along to church.

ジュリーは「うん！」っていって一緒に教会にきた。
Julie said, “Okay!” and came to church with me.

その日のメッセージの内容は覚えていないけど、ヒルソングの日本語礼拝でヘッドホンでメッセージの英語の同時通訳を聞きながら、ジュリーは涙ぐんでた。
I don’t remember what the message was that day, but as Julie was listening to the simultaneous English translation of the message at Hillsong Japanese extension service, she was looking teary.

そして、最後にメッセージをしていた人が「イエスを受け入れたい人？」って聞いた時、ジュリーが手をあげた。
And when the preacher asked at the end, “who wants to receive Jesus?” Julie raised her hand.

一緒に祈って、彼女はイエスを心に受け入れた。
We prayed together and she received Jesus in her heart.

そのときの喜びは言葉にできないぐらい！！
I can’t describe how happy I was!!!  

大好きな、大切に思っている友達がイエスを知って、イエスを受け入れた。
My friend who I love and care got to know about Jesus and received Him!!! 

前から友達だったけど、繋がりが特別になった。
We were always friend but our connection became special.

そこから、ジュリーも私も神様との冒険がまっていたけど、私はルークと出会い、ジュリーはスコットと出会った。２人とも神様を愛してる素晴らしい男性。
From then Julie and I had many adventures with God and I met Luke and she met Scott.  They are both amazing men who love God.

イエスと出会って、最高の決断をした彼女が、神様中心の最高の結婚ができること凄く嬉しく思う。
It’s so exciting to see her, who received Jesus and made the great decision ever, getting married and putting God first in their marriage.

この前オーストラリア行った時、ルークと私とジュリーとスコットで良い時間が過ごせた。
Last time when Luke and I went to Australia, we had great time together.

結婚に対するビジョンを語ることができたし、それに向けての準備について話して、励ますことができた。
We were able to share the vision for marriage , how to prepare for great marriage and encourage them.

たくさんチャレンジもあったと思う。　でも２人はそれを乗り越えた☆
I am sure they had many challenges. But they overcame them!

これからはわくわくの結婚生活がまってるよ＾＾　クリスチャン同士の結婚はどんどんよくなっていくから！
They are going to enjoy being married!!! Christian marriage just gets better and better!

これからも見ていきたい。　神様によって人生変えられていく人達。家族。友達。
I want to keep on seeing people getting their lives changed by God. Families getting saved. Friends getting saved.  

あの時、「教会いってみない？」っていったこと、本当によかった。
I am so glad that I said, “do you want to come to church?” at that time.

だから、周りの友達を教会に誘うのをためらっている人を励ましたい。
So I want to encourage you if you are hesitating  to invite your friends to church.

誘ってみなきゃわからないよ？ 
You will never know unless you ask!!

私たちの仕事は種をまくこと。　イエスと出会えるチャンスをシェアすること。
Our job is to sow seeds. Share the opportunity so the people around us can find Jesus.

そして、私たちが大好きな友達や家族にプレゼントできる一番最高のものはイエスとイエスと歩む人生。
And the best thing that we can give to our family and friends is Jesus and the life with Him!  

しかし、信じたことのない方を、どうして呼び求めることができるでしょう。聞いたことのない方を、どうして信じることができるでしょう。宣べ伝える人がなくて、どうして聞くことができるでしょう。
遣わされなくては、どうして宣べ伝えることができるでしょう。次のように書かれているとおりです。
「良いことの知らせを伝える人々の足は、なんとりっぱでしょう。」
（ローマ１０：１４－１５）

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
(Romans 10:14-15)
