Chiaki’s STORY!

For those who are wondering “what kind of people go to  Lifehouse Osaka International church?” you can read their stories through my blog!

Today I will introduce Chiaki!

How long have you been a Christian?

I received Jesus on December 2, 2011.
I got baptised on February 12, 2012.

How did you start coming to Lifehouse Osaka?

It all started when my brother Hiroshi shared about God at home and invited me to come to church.

Why did you receive Jesus? What changed the most since you received Jesus?

I used to live in a really small world before and people used to say things to me. I used to think that I am not worth living. I hated losing and I couldn’t open up to people so I tried to cover things up by hurting myself and I was really desperately seeing for help.  I didn’t know how to talk to people so my relationships were shallow and I used to avoid people because I was shy. I hated myself back then.

But when I went to church for the first time, people were really warm and I discovered real love and I wanted to know more about Jesus as Luke’s message really moved me!

Also, my brother Hiroshi said that his life has changed after going to church. As I saw my brother growing and changing, I was confident that God was real so I decided to receive Him too!

The moment I had an encounter with God, a bright light came into my heart and I was able to see a whole new world!

In the past when I faced difficulties, I used to overcome it by my own strengths, but now I know that I can overcome things with God, so I am not afraid anymore and I can think positively.

And now I love talking to people and I’m living the best life ever as God is my foundation!

What team do you serve in?

Welcome Team (Inside).

What I love about my team.

I love how people are super passionate about God

What is your vision now?

I want everyone in Japan who doesn’t know about God to receive God! Also, I want to share His love to people and see them get saved!
Also, I want everyone to know that they are loved by God and see this nation change!

Anything you want to say to people who are thinking to come to church or not?

If you want to live the best life you should definitely come to church! Your life will be changed forever.

What can you say about  Lifehouse Osaka?

It’s an amazing place! Everyone is my family.

What is your favorite scripture?

Matthew 6:34
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for.

God has an amazing eternal plan for each one of us!
So I think I just need to be myself and keep on shining all the time, wherever I am!
If we keep on praying, God will answer our prayers.
From this scripture I was encouraged to receive God’s amazing words everyday and live my life to its fullest!
